I decided to put on the Spanish channel on my
TV, and there happened to be a novela
on, and to my knowledge, that is what I have been told was a soap opera. It is called SeƱora Acero, and the woman just
killed a man, then security has come out, and she said “Tranquillos,” and that
seemed to be like “calm down.” I heard
things like muerde, que paso, aqui, las
cosas, un solo royal mas, etc.; they all talk very fast. Then there were commercials that I remember on
English TV and it’s in Spanish, so I can figure out what they mean. Me
encanta was said when a girl loved how her hair looked, deportes, canales, meaning sports and channels, gratis meaning free, etc. Vamos was said to the girl so they would
leave in the show away from the crime scene; it also helps seeing the show and
what is going on so you can put two and two together as to what the words mean
and what they are doing. The girl was
telling her son when he will be getting out of the hospital and she said junio.
