The
other day, I was bored and wanted to make cookies. I put the recipe in Spanish on my tablet and
that was kind of difficult to follow, but I kept using google translate to
guide me through it. I didn’t want to
poison myself. I learned measurements
and other words such as cups, teaspoons, eggs, shortening, ingredients, apple,
tablespoon, baking sheet, etc. These words are tazas, cucharillas,
huevos, manteca, ingredientes (really easy), manzana, cuchara de sopa, and una
bandeja para hornear. I’m not
sure if that is the correct translation for each. After looking up what everything was, I wrote
the whole recipe down in English and made the cookies, and I didn’t die!
