Community practice

                For this week’s community practice I tried to list everything in my living room in Spanish. Here is a list of what's in my living room.

·         Couch = sofa

·         Recliner = reclinable

·         Chair = sila

·         T.V = television

·         Poster = cartel

·         Xbox

·         Wii

·         Coffee table = mesa de centro

·         Mini refrigerator =refrigerador pequeno

·         Lamp = lampara

·         Desk = escritorio

·         Shelves with dvds and books = estantes con dvd y libros

·         Bowling ball = bola de bolos

I based this one off of what I did in the kitchen, I would flip the cards over and attempt to say the name of each item without looking at it. After saying what I thought the correct word was I would check the note card and then flip it back over if it was not correct.

I did this several times trying to memorize what each item was to the best of my ability.
